Doo Wop Show Brings Music Of Herman’s Hermits, More to Capitol

WHEELING -- Rock, Roll and Doo Wop Vol. 23 brings Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone back by popular demand with a playlist that will transport fans back in time to the happy days of the 1960s.
The show takes place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling.
Known on both sides of the pond for songs like "I'm Into Something Good," "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter," "I'm Henry VIII, I Am," "Silhouettes," "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," "Wonderful World," "Just A Little Bit Better," "There's a Kind of Hush," "A Must To Avoid," "Listen People," "No Milk Today" and "The End of the World," ultimately, Herman's Hermits sold more than 52 million recordings.
In all, 14 singles and seven albums went gold. Accompanied by his band, Noone currently performs more than 200 concerts a year in addition to hosting "Something Good" on Sirius XM '60s on 6.
Joining him will be Pittsburgh icon Jimmy Ross and the Jaggerz ("The Rapper," "Gotta Find My Way Back Home") The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy") and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Terry Sylvester of the Hollies ("Long Cool Woman," "The Air That I Breathe," "He Ain't Heavy" and "Bus Stop.")
The show, presented by The Health Plan, promises to be one of the most energetic and fun-filled rock and roll shows of the year.
