Wearing White After Labor Day

2 min read

Editor, News-Register:

I'm writing to thank Mr. Bill Bryant for regularly providing me many, many laugh out loud moments. As most regular readers of the News Register's Letters to the Editor already know, Mr. Bryant is a St. Clairsville resident who's incredibly maniacal obsession with former President Trump has been loudly documented on this page on a near-weekly basis for the past half dozen plus years.

Mr. Bryant regularly and predictably unleashes venom filled diatribes accusing the former President of committing every crime in the world except the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby.

Almost without exception, Bryant over and over asserts that Trump has committed treason, sedition, crimes against humanity, jaywalking, kicking puppies and even wearing white slacks after Labor Day! Can you imagine? White slacks after Labor Day! Hilarious!

But, all kidding aside, Bryant has made it crystal clear that he will never rest, never sleep, and never relent--let alone take a month off from penning another manifesto--until Trump pays the ultimate penalty for treason. And we all know exactly what that penalty is: execution. Mr. Bryant simply lacks the courage to publicly say so. And finally, as I write this letter I, too, am wearing white slacks after Labor Day.

Take that, Mr. Bryant!
