Are We a Nation of Laws?

Editor, News-Register:

When I read or hear that we are a nation of laws it's all I can do to ignore. We have thousands of illegals crossing our border and being bussed, and given phones, money and whatever all at taxpayer expense. They are taken to other cities and being greeted like returning heroes instead of law breakers by gutless politicos offering handshakes. All the while our vice president is saying our border is secure. What country is she living in?

Some states are relaxing laws regarding bail and turning criminals loose who are committing more violent crimes and innocent people are suffering as a result!

When I was growing up and heard the FBI name we felt respect and awe. Now I am afraid to say what I really think. In all my lifetime I don't believe I've ever seen such poor leadership as we now have. If people don't wake up it will soon be too late. Oh well, there is still hope, I guess.
