3 min read

MORGANTOWN -- Wheeling Park gave top-seeded Morgantown everything it had, but the Mohigans are the ones advancing into regional play as they bagged a thrilling 13-12 walk-off, extra-inning victory over the visiting Patriots Friday.

Trailing 12-4 entering the final inning, Park put eight runs on the board in the top of the seventh to tie the game and extend their season by at least one more inning.

Morgantown's Domenic Colasante drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth, however, to gift the Mohigans the Class AAA Region 1, Section 1 trophy.

Braydon Kupsky and Michael Bittinger each collected three hits for Park.

Catcher Luke Marsh drove in four runs while Kupsky had three RBI and Quinn Jamison drove in a pair for Park.

That Patriots end the season with a 12-10 record.
