Showing His Love for His Mother

It's been 10 years, Mother, but I still think about you every day. There is no doubt in my mind that our family was very blessed and fortunate to have had a mother like ours. Her main goal in life was to do her very best in raising her beloved children.

Mother's Day is a special day of thanks, and a time to tell your mom that you love her for all her hard work, as well as give her a big hug. In my case, to tell her what a fantastic job she did in raising this "crazy kid." I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect mom, but you came very close.

We were children growing up without a father. My dad wasn't in my life. I didn't have a male figure/hero to look up to. I did have a hero and that was my mom. Thanks, mom, for all your hard work and patience, your dedication to our family, and the good example you set that you provided for all of us.

Mom, through all the hard times and a house filled with the lack of appreciation, your patience showed through and allowed us to spread our wings and fly. Today, we recognize your stamina and applaud your diligence. You have our love and admiration.

Yesterday and today are very different and tomorrow is yet to be seen, but through it all, the extended family is doing well, and you would feel very proud. Mothers rarely get what they deserve. Thank you mom for loving us and making us happy and good children. You were our mother and best friend, which is unusual, because we weren't the best behaved kids.

All children should be fortunate to have had a mother like you. I know that you were the best mother possible for us kids. They don't get much better than you. Thanks again, mom, for your hard work and your dedication to our family, and the great examples that you set for all your children.

Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday.

Love,
