Kudos to Councilman (Dave) Palmer for the (now passed) firework restrictions.
Perhaps those opposed need to have visiting drunken revelers such as I had last July 4. My neighbor's relative came from out of town and for three hours got progressively drunk and fired off innumerable incendiary devices.
Three of them hit my house.
He certainly was in no condition to handle a fire had one started.
Yes, a few people make the use of these devices harmful to the rest of us. Those of us who have pets don't care for the PTSD they suffer because of such fools.
