Ohio County Back to Orange on COVID Map, In-Person Learning at Wheeling Park High To Resume

1 min read

Ohio County was orange on the Department of Health and Human Resources COVID alert map Monday, which will allow in-person learning to resume at Wheeling Park High School.

According to a message posted on the school district’s Facebook page, students in Group B — those with last names starting with M-Z, will be in-person on Tuesday. Those students should report directly to homeroom to start the day. Attendance will be taken for those students Tuesday.

Students in Group A, those with last names starting with A-L, will be remote learners Tuesday. Remote and Group A students should log into Schoology and follow along with their classes. Some teachers may offer live teaching and students are encouraged to attend those live sessions if offered.

Hancock County also was orange Tuesday, allowing for in-person learning at that county’s high schools. Brooke, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties remained red, so high school students in those counties remain remote learners.

Starting at /week.
