MORGANTOWN – Majestic Care of Charleston, Fairmont and Morgantown are slated to open in 2028, each with at least 100 beds, according to a press release.

Majestic Care provides nationwide "skilled nursing services," including short-term rehabilitation, memory recovery services and long-term care. Currently, Majestic Care operates locations in Beckley, Hopemont, Lakin and Manchin, according to its website.

Each community will be at least 52,200 square feet and include dining/family areas, outdoor wellness spaces, training areas and more, the release said. The projects are part of an $80 million larger investment to West Virginia infrastructure and employment opportunities.

The Morgantown location will have 105 beds and be located at 967 Grafton Road. The Charleston and Fairmont locations will have 106 beds at 810 Cross Lanes Drive and 100 beds at 1189-1145 Industrial Park Road, respectively.

Chelsey Gheyara, Majestic Care vice president of growth and experience, said the team is eager for the development and venture for West Virginia.

"We're really excited about these three new facilities that are going to represent that combined $50 million investment that is reflecting the broader commitment to strengthening our presence and expanding that access to care across the state," she said.

Gheyara explained the project as "more than just buildings," as the new facilities reflect Majestic Care's commitment to creating a higher quality of life for their residents, providing more employment opportunities and giving families a care option they can rely on for their loved ones.

"It’s about creating modern environments where our residents can receive quality care," she said. "We want our family members to feel welcome. We want our care team members to have the resources they need to do their best work. We're making a long-term investment in the future of health care across the state."

The groundbreaking ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. in Charleston on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Fairmont on Wednesday, Nov. 4, and in Morgantown on Thursday, Nov. 5.
